Our Mission
To provide a safe, fun, inclusive flag football experience where kids learn the game, build confidence, and represent the Sharon community with pride.
Conduct of Players
- Show respect to teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees.
- Try your best at practices and games.
- Be a good teammate by encouraging others and including everyone.
- Play by the rules and accept referee decisions.
- Stay safe by using proper techniques and reporting injuries.
- Have fun and help others enjoy the game too.
Conduct of Coaches
- Put players first by prioritizing safety, development, and fair playing time.
- Model positive behavior and use constructive, encouraging language.
- Create an inclusive environment for all genders, backgrounds, and skill levels.
- Teach fundamentals and emphasize teamwork over winning.
- Communicate professionally with parents and league staff.
- Respect officials and maintain composure during games.
- Be prepared with organized practices and timely communication.
Conduct of Parents & Spectators
- Support all players with positive cheering and encouragement.
- Respect coaches and referees — no arguing, sideline coaching, or negative comments.
- Model good sportsmanship for your child and the community.
- Keep the environment safe by supervising siblings and staying in spectator areas.
- Communicate respectfully with coaches and league staff outside of game time.
- Remember the purpose: youth sports are about learning, growth, and fun.

By participating in the Sharon Flag Football League, all players, coaches, and parents agree to uphold this code of conduct and contribute to a positive, supportive, and community centered experience for every child.
